The Social Cow

Our journey began with our beloved vintage ice cream truck, Maebel during the pandemic. When we started The Social Cow, we were on a mission to bring people together through shared experiences. What started as a mobile passion project quickly grew into something bigger-an opportunity to create a permanent space where our community could always find their favorite sweet treats.

That opportunity came at The Market at 7th Street, a dynamic hub for local food and culture in Uptown Charlotte. Expanding from our ice cream truck roots to a kiosk inside the market will allow us to reach even more people while staying true to what makes The Social Cow special-quality, creativity, and connection. Now, with a home base in one of Charlotte's most beloved gathering spots, we'll be serving hand-scooped ice cream, and fresh made waffle cones, bringing the same energy and joy that started it all.

Through every scoop, we celebrate our journey-from Maebel's first day on the road to becoming a part of the HIIVE Cohort 2 and growing our presence in Charlotte. We're grateful for the support of our customers and community, and we can't wait to keep sharing sweet moments with you!

Why I love the Market

We love being part of The Market at 7th Street because it's a vibrant community that brings together amazing local food, culture, and people. The energy, support, and shared passion for quality experiences make it the perfect home for our ice cream kiosk. Being a part of HIIVE Cohort 2 provided an incredible opportunity to learn, grow, and connect with like-minded entrepreneurs. The mentorship, resources, and collaborative spirit fueled our excitement to build something special. We're grateful to be on this journey and can't wait to share more sweet moments with our community!
